All-inclusive Celebrant Package

Meetings

We get together for a FREE, no-obligation meeting  to discuss your ceremony requirements, learn about me and what I do, and see if I am the right Marriage Celebrant for you.

+ I explain all the legalities and answer any questions you have.

+If you want to go ahead with me as your celebrant, then we will need to complete a Notice of Intended Marriage together.

To do this, I will need to see your original birth certificates, photo ID (passport or drivers Licence) and proof of residence (Electricity Bill or Rates Notice). If either of you have been married before I will ask to see divorce papers or a death certificate.

The NOIM needs to be lodged with me at least 31 days before your wedding date and up to 18 months before. A bonus of Covid is that the rules have changed at BDM and we can now sign your NOIM via FaceTime, making it an easy process.

+ You will need to bring all the original documents along when we meet to complete the required paperwork and discuss and plan your wedding ceremony in detail.

+ Next is an opportunity for me to get to know you as a couple. We will talk about the two of you, how you met, what you love about each other, your plans and goals for the future etc

+ We will then discuss the who, what, where, when and how of your wedding ceremony. I use this info to create your personalised ceremony.

+ We will talk about your vows; I encourage you to write these individually and only share them with me, remember I am here to assist if needed. When saying your vows on the day,  I can provide you with prompt cards, whisper them to you or you can memorise them. Whatever you wish.

+ I can provide your final ceremony script  prior to your wedding day or I can surprise you on the day. We can also meet or chat a few weeks prior to finalise any last-minute details required for the wedding.

+ Rehearsal’s are a great idea and best done the day before the wedding. It is great to have all the wedding party attend and also that important person/’s who walk’s you down the aisle. We will also sign your 'Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage' form at the rehearsal.

+ I include unlimited telephone and email communication up until your ceremony date, and assistance to guide you through the entire planning process.

Note, if additional travel and accommodation are required these will incur additional fee's

On the Day

+ I will arrive 45 minutes prior to your scheduled ceremony and ensure that everything is ready.

+ I can provide a signing table and chairs, if required and will use my P.A system and microphone to conduct the ceremony. I can also play your chosen ceremony music on the day, if required.

+ Post wedding you will receive your commemorative marriage certificate, ceremony script, certificate of marriage and vow cards.

+ I will lodge all the legal documents to register your marriage and provide you guidance on how to obtain your official marriage certificate. This usually takes 2 – 4 weeks for you to receive.

Alternatively, for minimal fuss, I can order the official certificate on your behalf for the purchase fee.
